The Amber Business Solutions IoT alarm communicator was designed to meet all regular requirements from a security alarm control panel. It operates on the Amber Alarm platform in the 868 MHz frequency range. The radio incorporates a dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) decoder that connects directly to the public switched telephone network (PSTN) output of an alarm control panel that supports the Contact ID message protocol. The product also incorporates four discrete (make to ground) inputs to sense any external triggers (for example panic, alarm, fire, medical) in the event that the PSTN output is not available.
